Mark Morales is a Vice President of the SBA Department of City National Bank. Mark has over 20 years of business banking experience and specializes in SBA financing and loan programs for diverse owned businesses. Mark is the 2022 SMSDC Leadership Excellence Award and 2022 RBC Global Citizen Award winner.

Mark Morales is also Co-owner of Charles Jacobsen, Inc. – a certified LGBT Business Enterprise. Mark was appointed to the State of California, Department of Insurance; Insurance Diversity Task Force as the LGBT Business Enterprise advocate/representative in 2015.  He currently serves as Chair of the Task Force.

Twenty six years ago, I was introduced into the world of graphic design and marketing and fell deeply in love with the idea of creative design and how it influences us in our daily lives.  My life has taken me on a roller coaster ride through growing up Catholic to Bible College and becoming a pastor for a small Evangelical community in the Central Valley.  I've spent the last 19 years off and on in Fresno, and recently relocated to my hometown of Cerritos, where I have established my business as a professional web and graphic designer.

I have three older children, am divorced from my spouse of 19 years, and identify as a queer transgender woman.  I am so excited to be a part of this chamber!

I am a 4th generation tax advisor and bookkeeper. I started this corporation in honor of my grandmother whose clients consisted of high profile business owners. She is now one of spirit guides, (both grandparents).
They always encouraged me to live my truth, I think my grandparents knew I was gay from a very young age. Guardian is a proud LGBTQ Corporation and women are the majority stockholders. I know my grandparents would be very proud of me. We now have 7 locations and still expanding.
