    What is the Long Beach LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce?

    The LBGLCC is a group that is dedicated to protecting and promoting the local LGBTQ+ business community. Our primary goal is to help our members grow, provide opportunities, and create a strong LGBTQ+ and allies business community. Our organization hosts networking luncheons, after-hours networking events, workshops, and other activities – all with the aim of connecting local business owners.

    You may be interested to know that according to a 2012 study conducted by The Schapiro Group, 49% of consumers were more likely to think favorably of a local business if it was a member of the local Chamber – and 80% were more likely to purchase a product or service from a Chamber member.

    As an added bonus, LBGLCC members can offer special discounts to our fellow members. The members in our community see true value in their membership and the work that we are doing to create a strong community. We are an affordable Chamber that will foster connections, provide education and promote your business!

    Although membership is open to anyone, it is advantageous for individuals whose businesses are within the Long Beach, OC, and surrounding areas.

  • Why Join?

  • By completing and submitting the Membership Application you confirm that you are the owner/manager of this business with authority to enter into contracts on behalf of the business; agree to abide by the Chamber’s Standards of Business Conduct & Ethics; authorize the Chamber to publish your name, photo and/or business information in the Chamber’s newsletter, online directory and other publications; understand that the Chamber will use your email address for sending general communications and invoices. Membership Applications for the LBGLCC (Long Beach LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce) are subject to administrative and/or Board approval. A Member’s renewal date is 12 months from the month the member joins. Paid dues are non-refundable.

    I hope this message finds you well and filled with enthusiasm for the journey ahead. As we embark on the future of the Long Beach LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce, I am honored to share with you our vision for the future—a vision built upon the core values of diversity, growth, relationships, advocacy, community, education, and certification.

    Here are some of the key initiatives and goals we aim to achieve this year:

    • Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion remains at the forefront of our mission. We will continue to advocate for policies and practices that foster an environment of acceptance and respect for individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and orientations.
    • Community: Service to our community is at the core value of our Chamber. We will participate in various charitable initiatives, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities to give back and make a positive impact. Legislative Updates: The importance of staying informed of current events that affect our community is vital.
    • Events: Participating in and supporting local LGBTQ+ events, pride celebrations, and cultural festivals to celebrate our diversity and unity.

    As business owners we participate in the economic growth of our city and community. It’s important that we have a “seat at the table” to create opportunities for growth.

    As we move forward on this journey together, we encourage each of you to actively engage with our Chamber, share your ideas, and participate in our events and initiatives. Together, we will create a stronger, more inclusive environment for everyone.
